Recommendation for Srđan Miš

To whom it may concern,

I am writing to recommend Srđan Miš. We were Senior Software Engineers on the same team at FieldFlō from February 2026, when I joined, until he left at the beginning of October 2026. He was already on the team when I arrived, and over those eight months we worked on the same parts of the portal and reviewed each other's pull requests. I know his work well.

Srđan owned parts of that portal and led the development of several features. The best example is our Semantic Search feature, which he implemented. He did not start with the code. He started by finding out what the client actually needed, then worked out how the relevant parts of our architecture fit together, and only then decided what to add and what to remove so the search would be as fast and efficient as possible. It met the requirements and was delivered on deadline. Understanding the need, then the system, and only then building is what I look for in someone leading a feature.

He has a great deal of experience and knowledge, and it showed in how he reviewed code. He put real effort into reviewing pull requests, and his comments were never complaints; they were practical advice that made the code better. Communication with him was easy. He answered quickly, and under pressure he stayed calm and focused.

He was always ready to help, sometimes even outside working hours if he happened to be near his computer, and he always took the time to explain things to new colleagues. On top of that, he is friendly and approachable: a great teammate, and someone I now count as a friend.
